Euphorbia geroldii is a very beautiful succulent shrub. This species is endemic to Madagascar and is endangered in its native habitat. It naturally grows in sub tropical or tropical dry forests. The leaves are dark green and glossy. And it has no spines, unlike many euphorbias. As it matures it tends to hang over, see the large pot at the Dallas Arboretum in our picture gallery. It is almost in constant bloom. The flowers are a coral red.
