Peperomia rubella is a great miniature species from Jamaica. The tiny, fleshy, elliptical, leaves are dark olive green on the top and red on the back. The stems are red. It is sometimes called "Itsy Bitsy". This makes great little miniature plant. As it gets older it will fall over and trail. It is perfect for a small dish garden mixed with other miniature plants or a terrarium.

Shade to partial sun, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, 2 to 4 in. tall. Allow to get fairly dry between waterings.
