Monstera dubia, in it's juvenile form, is a shingling climber with silver leaves and dark green veins. It should be given a moss pole or other totem to climb for full effect. Like many other epiphytic aroids, M. dubia goes through a dramatic transformation as it climbs and begins to develop mature foliage. Leaves become larger and not affixed to the climbing medium. They eventually lose their silver coloration but become heavily fenestrated, somewhat like M. adansonii.

Care:

  • Bright indirect or filtered light
  • Plant in well drained medium and water when the top inch of soil is dry
  • provide a moss pole or other climbing medium.

Family: Araceae

This plant is shipped in a 3.5" pot.
